Kamis, 7 Sept 2023 telah dilaksanakan kegiatan Serah Terima Jabatan Dekan Fakultas Teknologi Infrastruktur dan Kewilayahan ITPLN dari Ir. Abdul Rokhman, ST., M. Eng kepada Dr Kemala Hayati, ST., MT, IPU. Acara tersebut disaksikan langsung oleh Rektor ITPLN Prof. Dr. Ir Iwa Garniwa Mulyana K, MT serta didampingi Wakil Rektor I Dipl. Ing. Iwan Tutuka Pambudi, MT., Ph.D
Pada kesempatan tsb, Rektor ITPLN dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa pada masa tampuk pimpinannya terdapat beberapa transformasi yg dijalankan, transformasi pertama adalah mengubah bentuk STT YPLN menjadi ITPLN di tahun 2020 yang kemudian diiringi dengan program doktorisasi dan percepatan jabatan fungsional dosen karena karir puncak dosen adalah menjadi Guru Besar. Transformasi kedua yang saat ini sedang dijalankan adalah merealisasikan visi ITPLN untuk menjadi unggul dan berkelas internasional.
“Salah satu langkah utk mencapai transformasi kedua adalah dengan terus menjalin kerjasama-kerjasama internasional seperti dengan UNITEN dalam melaksanakan joint research, double degree, guest lecture dan lainnya” lanjut Iwa.
Selain transformasi tersebut, ITPLN yang telah diakui sebagai kawah candradimuka oleh Dirut PLN maka bagaimana ITPLN dapat membangun dirinya yaitu diantaranya membangun SDM yang unggul, mengantarkan mhs memahami knowledge yang dengan mudahnya diakses dari berbagai media dan menjalankan strategi 4:4:2, tutup Rektor.
“FTIK terbentuk di tahun 2019 terus mengalami pengembangan. Diawal berdirinya FTIK berfokus pd pembentukan program studi baru dijenjang sarjana yaitu geografi dan teknik lingkungan. Tantangan ke depan utk prodi baru yg saat ini sudah mulai berjalan adalah mencari dosen baru dan upaya menjaring mhs. Dan Saat FTIK sedang bersiap utk membuka program studi di jenjang magister rekayasa sipil” ucap Abdul Rokhman.
Tidak ketinggalan Dekan FTIK Dr Kemala Hayati menyampaikan rasa kebanggaannya dalam mengemban amanah menjadi Dekan, dimana program tercepat yang akan dilakukan saat ini adalah percepatan jabatan fungsional, peningkatan jumlah publikasi dan menyiapkan SDM untuk membentuk program S2 rekayasa sipil.
