Fakultas Telematika Energi (FTEN) Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) akan menggelar seminar nasional dengan tema lnfrastruktur Digital dan Artificial Inteligence (AI) Mendukung Transisi Energi Kelistrikan pada hari Senin, 17 Juli 2023. Seminar menghadirkan para pembicara yang kompeten di bidangnya yaitu Direktur Utama PLN Indonesia Power Edwin Nugraha Putra, Direktur Utama PLN Icon Plus Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi dan seorang cyber security specialist Guntur Sulistyo Raharjo. Seminar diadakan di kampus ITPLN Duri Kosambi, Cengkareng Jakarta dan disiarkan secara daring melalui zoom.
Seminar akan membahas tentang infrastruktur digital dan kecerdasan buatan yang berperan penting dalam mendukung transisi energi kelistrikan. Pengembangan infrastruktur digital yang kuat, seperti jaringan listrik cerdas dan sistem manajemen energi yang terintegrasi dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya energi yang tersedia. Perkembangan AI yang memungkinkan pengumpulan dan analisis data menjadi lebih cepat, memungkinkan identifikasi pola konsumsi energi dan prediksi permintaan yang lebih akurat. Seminar juga akan membahas penyedia layanan energi yang mampu merespons secara dinamis fluktuasi permintaan, memaksimalkan efisiensi operasional, pengoptimalan kinerja sistem energi dan mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca serta potensi besar dalam mempercepat transisi energi kelistrikan menuju masa depan yang berkelanjutan dan hemat karbon.
Edwin Nugraha Putra pernah meraih penghargaan sebagai The Best CEO For Corporate Digital Transformation of The Year serta membawa PLN Indonesia Power meraih empat kategori penghargaan dalam ajang Digital Technology & Innovation Awards atau Digitech Award 2023 dengan level Gold 5 Stars.
Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi adalah orang yang memimpin transformasi digitalisasi dan inovasi dimana salah satu inovasinya menghadirkan pengalaman pelayanan pelanggan melalui layanan digital produk-produk PLN dalam satu platform, yaitu PLN Mobile. Icon Plus adalah sub holding beyond kWh PLN. Pembicara terakhir Guntur Sulistyo Raharjo dari Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia (APJII) Bali.
Rektor ITPLN Prof. Dr. Ir. Iwa Garniwa M K, MT yang rencananya akan memberikan opening speech pada seminar tersebut mengatakan bahwa nfrastruktur digital memungkinkan pengelolaan kelistrikan lebih efisien dan cerdas. Dengan menggunakan sensor, pemantauan real-time, dan analisis data yang didukung oleh AI, penyedia layanan energi seperti PLN dapat mengoptimalkan pengaturan dan pengendalian jaringan secara dinamis. ”Transisi energi kelistrikan melibatkan peningkatan penggunaan sumber energi terbarukan seperti tenaga surya dan angin. Infrastruktur digital dan AI dapat membantu dalam pengintegrasian yang lebih baik dari sumber energi terbarukan ke dalam jaringan listrik” kata Prof Iwa.
Sementara itu Dekan FTEN ITPLN Dr. Efy Yosrita, S.Si, M.Kom menyampaikan harapannya seminar ini akan menyediakan wawasan yang mendalam tentang perkembangan terkini dalam bidang infrastruktur digital dan AI dalam konteks energi kelistrikan. Peserta juga akan mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang bagaimana teknologi ini dapat diterapkan untuk mendukung transisi energi yang lebih berkelanjutan
